LES Phase 3 Student Learning Model Parent Survey

As we prepare to move into Phase 3, our district will begin phasing more of our students back into our schools.

Please complete this form to help us make the best decision regarding the structure of learning environments on our SJBP campuses. It is not necessary to complete this survey if you are pleased with your child's learning model. The survey must be completed by October 30, 2020.

Auditions for the following extra-curricular Teams are now Scheduled!

All 5th, 6th, 7th, & 8th grade girls are invited. The LES Tigerettes, Majorettes, & Cheerleaders have scheduled the following Practice & Audition dates.
LES Tigerettes kick-off practice on Monday, November 2nd, & Tuesday thru Friday, November 4t thru November 6th & audition date Saturday, November 7th. Majorettes begin Monday, November 16th thru Friday, November 20th & auditions date is scheduled for Saturday, November 21st. Lastly, the LES Cheerleaders will hold practices on Monday & Tuesday, November 23rd & 24th and the audition is scheduled for Monday, November 20th. Please click on the link for more information.

LES Fall School Pictures!

LaPlace Elementary Fall School Pictures with Barberito Photography will be taken this upcoming week. Pre-K through 3rd Grade and Green Day Hybrid students will take photos on Wednesday, October 28th. Gold Day Hybrid, 4th grade, & All Virtual students will take photos on Thursday, October 29th from 8am to 10am in the cafeteria. School uniforms must be worn, individual photos only will be taken. Red Ribbon Week October 26-30

It is time once again to celebrate Red Ribbon Week! This flyer is to inform you of the activities planned for the annual Red Ribbon campaign at LaPlace Elementary School. The campaign originated in memory of DEA Agent Enrique “Kiki” Camarena. The red ribbon has become the symbol of the commitment to live a drug-free, healthy lifestyle. If you would like to bring your decorated car and participate in handing out Bagged candy and/or goodies, please fill out the attached form and send it back to the office with your student by Monday, October 26, 2020. *
