Vision and Mission
LaPlace Elementary School Culture Club
The vision of the LaPlace Elementary School Culture Club
is to expose students to a variety of different cultures and cultivate students' understanding of those cultures.
The LaPlace Elementary School Culture Club's mission is to PROMOTE school culture, LEARN about new cultures and languages, and SUPPORT school cultural projects such as Hispanic Heritage Month, Black History Month, and Asian Pacific American Heritage Month. As a part of achieving the mission, the LES Culture Club will participate in school and community services events. The LES Culture Club will also participate in a STEP DANCE TEAM.
Member Requirements include:
Current enrollment at Laplace Elementary
Satisfactory grades, attendance and behavior
Attend regular attendance meetings
Students in grades 3rd- 8th
Participate in Black History Month, Native American month activities
Participate in Community Service Events
